28 KRAKOW VIENNA BUDAPEST On the Wings of Classical Music 9 DAYS IN VIENNA, BUDAPEST, KRAKOW, AND WARSAW 9DVIEWAW Day 1, Wednesday, arrive in Vienna You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Take some time to relax before meeting your fellow travelers and Tour Director for a Welcome Dinner. (D) Day 2, Thursday, to Vienna Our day begins with a visit to St. Stephen's Cathedral and the Hofburg Palace. We will then proceed to view the impressive Belvedere Palace, the vibrant Prater Amusement Park, and the renowned UN Buildings. The afternoon is free to explore at your own pace. In the evening, enjoy a classical concert featuring the music of Strauss and Mozart. (B) Day 3, Friday, to Budapest Today, we depart for Budapest, Hungary. Upon arrival, the sightseeing tour includes panoramic views of the city's main attractions including the Parliament, the Royal Palace, the Castle Hill area, Fisherman's Bastion, the Matthias Church, Heroes' Square, and Gellert Hill with its Citadel. The rest of the day is free to explore this exciting city at your own leisure. (B) Day 4, Saturday, explore Budapest The entire day is free for you to explore Budapest - known as The Paris of the East. Shop along Vaci Utca, indulge in a delicious slice of apple strudel, sip Hungarian wine, or join us for an optional excursion. In the evening, enjoy a dinner and overnight stay. (B, D) Day 5, Sunday, to Krakow The road to Krakow takes us through the scenic hills and countryside of Slovakia. We will pass the majestic Tatras Mountains and head towards the rolling plains of Poland. Arrive in Krakow in time for a relaxing dinner. (B, D)
