46 DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN PRAGUE SIGHTSEEING Arrive in Prague. Meet your Eng speaking tour director and private coach transfer to the hotel. Check into the hotel. Afternoon and evening time at your own leisure. Dinner at the hotel or in a local restaurant. Overnight in Prague. DAY 2: PRAGUE SIGHTSEEING Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for half day Prague sightseeing tour with your tour director. A guided walk through the Prague Castle complex to discover the major sights within. Admire the grandeur of Saint Vitus Cathedral, the architecture of the Old Royal Palace, and enjoy stunning views of Prague. From Prague Castle we head for the river, for a stroll across Charles Bridge, and for more wonderful views of the city. We then continue our Prague tour with a walk through the Jewish Quarter, Wenceslas Square at its heart, Lesser Town (Mala Strana) the historic Astronomical Clock and the Old Town Square. Afternoon and evening at your own leisure. Dinner in a local restaurant or hotel. Overnight in Prague. DAY 3: DAY TRIP TO CESKY KRUMLOV Breakfast at the hotel. With your English speaking tour director proceed for a full day tour of Cesky Krumlov. The fairy tale town of Cesky Krumlov is a UNESCOWorld Heritage Site in South Bohemian region and home to one of the largest castle complexes in Central Europe. Explore one of the most beautiful towns of Europe, the magnificent Renaissance castle, its stunning gardens, the church of St. Vitus and its medieval times’ cobbled streets. Free time for lunch (N/I). Enjoy some time at your own leisure. Return to Prague. Dinner in a local restaurant or hotel. Overnight in Prague DAY 4: PRAGUE TO DACHAU CONCENTRATION CAMP TOMUNICH Breakfast at the hotel. Check out of the hotel. Along with your tour director drive south towards Germany. Cross the border to arrive at Dachau Concentration Camp. Proceed for a guided tour of the camp. On March 22 1933, the Nazi regime opened a concentration camp on the grounds of the disused Königlich Bayerische Pulver- und Munitionsfabrik Dachau, a defunct factory complex that once produced gunpowder and ammunition. This prison and place of terror existed for twelve years. More than 200,000 prisoners from over 40 nations were imprisoned in the Dachau concentration camp and its subcamps; at least 41,500 persons died here of hunger and illness, from the torture they suffered, were murdered, or perished from the consequences of their imprisonment. By investigating the historic site on the tour, the remaining buildings, and the various reconstructions, visitors can discover the historical traces from time of the concentration camp and its aftermath. First, we will drive through the old town district and see attractions like the Old and New Art Gallery (Alte Pinakothek and Neue Pinakothek), the National Theatre and the Royal Residence, the Marienplatz Square with the Old and New town Hall and the "Mariensäule" Column, the church of Saint Peter and the famous Viktualienmarkt Square with its fine food stands. Afterwards, we will continue to Nymphenburg castle (summer residence of the kings of Bavaria) and have a walk through its gardens. Finally, having arrived at the Olympiapark, we will ascend to the panoramic platform of the Olympia Tower and enjoy a splendid panoramic view over the city of Munich. Evening at your own leisure.
