18 DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN PRAGUE AND SIGHTSEEING Arrive in Prague. Meet your English speaking tour director and private coach transfer to the hotel. Check into the hotel. After some time at your own leisure, proceed for half day Prague sightseeing tour. We start with a guided walk through the Prague Castle complex to discover the major sights within. Admire the grandeur of Saint Vitus Cathedral, the architecture of the Old Royal Palace, and enjoy stunning views of Prague. From Prague Castle we head for the river, for a stroll across Charles Bridge, and for more wonderful views of the city. We then continue our Prague tour with a walk through the Jewish Quarter, Wenceslas Square at its heart, Lesser Town (Mala Strana) the historic Astronomical Clock and the Old Town Square. On the way stop in the beautiful city of Olomouc, for sightseeing and lunch. Olomouc is a city in the eastern province of Moravia in the Czech Republic. It is known for its 6 baroque fountains and the 18th-century Holy Trinity Column, a monument adorned with religious sculptures. On Wenceslas Hill are the Gothic St. Wenceslas Cathedral and the Romanesque Bishop’s Palace. The Town Hall is a former merchant's house with vaulted rooms and an astronomical clock. Proceed towards Krakow and arrive in evening hours. On arrival, check into the hotel and time at your own leisure. Dinner and overnight in Krakow. DAY 5: KRAKOW SIGHTSEEING &WIELICZKA SALT MINE After Breakfast in hotel meet your English speaking guide for a walking tour of the city. You will have a chance to see Old Town (UNESCO) with old Jewish district of Kazimeirz, Wawel Hill with its impressive arcaded Renaissance courtyard and the famous gothic cathedral, the oldest university college – the Collegium Mauis, with a beautiful Gothic courtyard, to finish the tour in the heart of Krakow – the Main Market. Tour is also possible on bike. Free time for lunch (N/I) Later in the afternoon enjoy the tour to Wieliczka Salt mine. The history of Wieliczka dates back to the Middle Ages, when it was proudly named the Magnum Sal – the Great Salt. In the 13th century it was known as the largest source of salt in Poland, and over the years it became crucial for the country’s economy. Dinner and overnight in Krakow.
